Average customer review:Product Description
The DEOS® stainless steel soap eliminates persistent odors which penetrate the skin while cooking. Unlike regular soap, the DEOS uses oxido-reduction, a natural property of steel, to remove strong odors in minutes: onion, garlic, fish, even nicotine. Plus the Orka® DEOS® features an embedded nail cleaner located at the tip of the teardrop-shaped steel "soap". The DEOS® is a gift that keeps on giving - ridding hands of odors use after use, while preserving hands' softness. Known for its distinctive design, the Deos® is on display at New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Customer Reviews
great product
I have been searching for a product like this for a while now,and this one is great, would recommend to anyone who handles alot of onions and garlic like I do,I use soap along with this and it erases all traces of smells completely.
Does the job!
I have used this a number of times after handling smelly items, this piece of stainless does the job and also looks good on the kitchen wall.
DOES NOT WORK
Its that simple, really. I've followed directions, used cold water. Heck, I just attempted to use it before writing this review. I would be telling you something different right now IF IT HAD WORKED! My hands still have the odor of chopped garlic from last night's dinner. Simply, does this work? Should you add this to your cart? I bought an ice cream scoop for ten bucks at a gadget store a few months back. Cuts hard ice ream like a dream and gives me a perfect scoop every time. If someone at the gadget store wanted the scoop on the scoop, I'd tell them to buy one for themselves and three more for friends. In no way, shape, or form can I justify this hunk of steel ("soap") nor recommend it to anyone as more than a paperweight with a cool wall mount (the mount may be useful). Ten bucks doesn't get you the same thing everywhere.
Furthermore, people, please, don't buy the hype. There is many chemical theories but no explanation (or scientific experiment) as to why this supposedly works or if it even works at all. The supposed odor-removing properties of stainless steel can happen with any piece of stainless steel, again, if at all. This hunk of metal's shape is purely decorative. Please, I urge you to do 5 minutes of research on this product before purchasing. If I had done so before rather than after, it wouldn't be lying uselessly on my table. If you still want one after that, you can have mine.
