Tom savini reached his peak as special effects gore master. For Romero, not as good as it could have been. Too claustrophobic, for what intended to be a description of the Zombie apocalypse over the earth. Still a priceless gem and a classic for the zombie genre.

Guillermo del Toro´s major breakthrought, is an original important view of the vampires as insectoid parasites. Very good film, similar to his other spanish language original films. Insightful, dramatic and sensitive tale about the price to pay for the eternal life. A real chapter in the vampire mithology book. Check it out

Way, way passed the psychological thriller tag. If this is not horror, what is it? Maybe at the time it was considered an insult because of the low reputation of the horror genre in the early 90´s. Unforgettable movie and great characters, it digged under our skin forever. A masterpiece.
