Sensational Minds, an exclusive African American bookstore was established in February 2007 by owners Don and Genitha Singleton. Sensational Minds is an Essence Magazine Best Seller Reporting Bookstore. The bookstore has received several lead articles in the Savannah Morning News and other community newspapers because of its commitment to serving the local community. Sensational Minds promotes reading and literary activities by attending health fairs, homecomings, business expos, festivals, trade shows and other events throughout the region.
