A convert to Catholicism, Scott Hahn brings salvation history to life for the lay Catholic. By focusing on our status as part of the family of God, he shows how the broken human family is made whole in Christ. Editorial Reviews
From AudioFile
Hahn, a master apologist and Roman Catholic theologian, unearths wonderful truths about the Christian God as seen through Old Testament promises and New Testament fulfillments. Though a few mispronunciations are evident to the astute listener, Paul Smith fully commits to the text. However, the subheads, very evident as such in a printed book, are not clearly identified as such in the narration and seem to start unfinished sentences, giving a halting effect to the reading. One disc contained numerous small skips; it may simply be a faulty copy, but this reviewer suspects that it might be a product glitch. However, neither the glitch nor the subhead problem should deter interested listeners. S.M.M. © AudioFile 2006, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine

Seeking Advice
All I want to do at present is study the Gospels with a little help from Scott Hahn, so I think Hahn's books on the Gospels of Mark and Matthew would be a more appropriate beginning point for a recently converted Catholic to begin reading the Gospels for the first time since conversion from Anglicanism. I already know about the covenantal relationship developed between God and the Hebrews in the Torah. Any advice from a fellow Christian, particularly a fellow Roman Catholic, will be very much appreciated.
Another wonderful read by Scott Hahn!
Dr. Hahn has yet another winner with this easy-to-read book! One of the big bases of his scriptural analyses is the theme of God's covenant with His people. This book is a real treasure, explaining the covenental promises of the Lord in language and style that's easily understood. As with all his books, this is presented in Dr. Hahn's reader-friendly style.
So brilliant!
This book is incredible. Scott Hahn did his dissertation in covenant theology, and this book goes through the 6 covenants in an easy to understand manner.
