Customer Reviews

If you know what this book is, then you probably don't need a review5
Those that know what this book is probably aren't going to need a review on it. Those that don't know what it is, probably don't need the book.

This was actually a purchase for my wife, who does medical transcription. She had been working for the past several years with the 2004 edition, and had so many notes written in the margins of the book with new medications that were not in available at the time of the 2004 publication that I went out and found her the latest version. So far, every drug she had written in the margins of her old copy are already in the new one.

For as fast as the pharmaceutical industry cranks out new drugs, it is key for there to be an updated publication like this that gives reference information, common dosages, and prescribed uses for those that are in the MT and other medical related fields.

You cannot work w/out a copy of this book!5
I use this for my job, and I have no choice but to purchase a copy frequently. It is kept up to date and I constantly reference it throughout the day while working. The $36 spent is recouped over and over again within the year just in time saved researching drugs if I did not own this book and spelling accuracy.

Excellent resource5
I am a home-based medical transcriptionist/editor and this word book is an excellent tool for checking the spelling of prescription medications.
