Worked great for an even better price...
When you buy this to replace a broken one in your Xbox you have to switch out the board from this one and the old one (Google it and you'll find instructions). You cannot just plug this one in and play but all in all an easy and rather inexpensive fix. It took about 10 minutes and has been running perfectly. By the way you'll want to look up how to open the case of your Xbox if you haven't done it before, the clips in the back can be a little tricky and you have to use a good bit of force.
Excellent Transaction
The product was as advertised, the shipping was acceptable. Product after installed works great!
I would buy again from this seller.
Fixed and playing again
My son's X box 360 DVD drive failed. I had heard that you could fix these yourself so I took the X box apart and found the model of the DVD player. I ordered this replacement (the same model as the one in my son's X box)from Amazon and it arrived in two days. Then I took each DVD player apart and swapped the circuit board from the old DVD player into the new one. The old circuit board has the codes that allow the DVD player to read the games disk. Without those codes you x box is only a movie player. I then placed the new DVD player (containing the old player's circuit board) into the x box and fired it up. Everything is working fine and has been working without fail for two months so far. Microsoft wanted $150 to repair and I did it for about $50.
