WhatGives?3
The product packaging clearly states "Delivers explosive 5.1 and 7.1 digital surround sound." Problem is, TOSlink optical transport systems by design only allows for transmission of 1.5Mbits/s thereby limiting channel capability to 5.1 Core channels. Anyone care to chime in on this?
Doesn't this constitute false advertising?

3 stars because this isn't a game and it's just a cable, not to mention the misleading specsmanship.
