Amazon.com Product Description
Classically fashionable and ruggedly masculine, the Tissot PRS200 stainless steel men's watch features ultra-precise Swiss chronograph timing features. It enables you to time events up to 30 minutes, displaying results to 1/10th of a second, and it offers standard start/stop functionality as well as split (intermediate) and add (partial) functions. The large, round silver stainless steel watch case measures 39.7mm (1.56 inches) wide and 11mm (0.45 inches) thick. It's topped by a unidirectional rotating bezel with black engraved elapsed time markings and brushed riders. The silver dial includes three blue-tone chronograph subdials, large luminous dauphine hands (with seconds hand) and hour markers, and an automatic date calendar at 4 o'clock. The silver stainless steel bracelet band offers links of mixed brushed and polished finishes, and it's joined by a double-locking clasp for extra security. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown and caseback for water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--suitable for scuba diving.
About Tissot

Some of Tissot's triumphs over the years include the the Idea 2001 (the world's first plastic watch) released in 1971, the Rock watch (which set the timepiece's movement in a stone case made from Swiss Alps granite) in 1985, and the Wood watch from 1988 (with a completely wooden case). Tissot uses the best movements (from ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse), the highest quality materials (316L steel, 18K gold, titanium) and scratch-proof glasses (sapphire crystal--at least 2500 Vickers).
The company has been involved with high profile sports events since 1974 when they sponsored a racing car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, France. Since then Tissot's timepieces have been chosen as official timekeepers for world championships in cycling, motorcycling, fencing and ice hockey. And Tissot is currently the the official watch and timekeeper of NASCAR.
Tissot timepieces have been worn by a bevy of celebrities over the years--including Grace Kelly, Elvis Presley and Nelson Mandela--and James Stewart's character L.B. Jefferies wore a Tissot timepiece in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window." Today the company is represented in a variety of sporting fields by English soccer star Michael Owen, IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, and MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden. Today, Tissot is a member of the Swatch Group, the world's largest watch producer and distributor.
Customer Reviews
Excellent Watch
It's a nice one - I liked it. I was wondering of buying this over a year and finally I bought it. The price is reasonable and looks great.
The original watch is much better than the image in Amazon.
Impressive watch, discount warranty
The watch is world-class. By buying it through Amazon, we forewent the
lifetime warranty and got the Amazon 5-year warranty.
We also had to pay a shop to fit the band.
All that being said, the watch is as advertised, and the discount makes the
tradeoffs worthwhile.
Excellent watch
I had to buy a new watch after my Tag Heuer Chronograph broke down, and I was told it would cost $600 to repair it. In any case, after a lot of research I found Tissot watches to be the better deal. You get almost the same quality, but pay a lot less.
I finally settled down on this watch T17.1.486.34. It looks much better in reality than on the picture. I have it now for about a week and it functions without any problems, as expected.
I bought this watch from watchzone for $215 plus shipping and taxes, which was a great deal.
