Sleek-looking, great buy
I just received this product from SF planet and it was exactly what it was advertised to be. It snapped right on the iPod touch 2G and fits perfectly. I got it because I'm plagued with sweaty hands and wanted protection for the edges of the iTouch when it was being used. It snaps together well and fits snugly, so I don't plan to take it apart that often. It doesn't seem to be something that's meant to be taken on and off frequently. It has a nice, matte finish which isn't slippery at all and covers all but the home button and viewing screen so the edges of the screen cover are concealed. The case has beveled edges around the ports, volume, on/off button and light sensor so it is very rounded and sleek with no rough edges. I don't have a docking station so don't know if it fits in one. I just have the sync cable and that plugs in fine with the case on. It has a small hole for a clip on the back but does not come with one. This does not affect the smoothness of the back, however. A great, hard skin that doesn't look bulky at all. For less than $5 shipped, it does its job and is a great deal. It came quickly, too.

I had a difficult time getting it on and removing it for charging on my sound dock station. It does not fit the sound dock station with this cover on the iPod. However, it is wonderful when charging in a stand alone charger or a UBS port. It is hard enough to protect the iPod.

You get what you pay for...
Poorly designed, ill fitting case. While it may do the job of helping to provide a bit of protection, it certainly does not look well doing it. With the case I received, the sides and seams did not fit fully flush or evenly, leaving the Touch room to wiggle (and likely ultimately mar the finish of the Touch as dirt enters the sides over time). After ordering this and several other 3rd party ipod touch products, believe there is variablity in the actual products depending upon the vendor chosen (unbranded, Chinese market packaging with poorly translated English labeling - some of it good, others not so much). Specific to this product, it is not something I would recommend unless one is willing to make some concessions in functionality and fit/finish in lieu of product cost.
