With a design and color scheme crafted to complement your Clix device, the cradle features a line-out port so you can easily connect to external speakers or headphones. Even if you're only connecting the Clix device to a PC for charging and file transferring purposes, the dock provides an attractive means of displaying the Clix device while helping keep your work area uncluttered at the same time. Other great features include a built-in rechargeable battery and a convenient carrying case.

Customer Reviews
What's it for?
As far as I can tell it does three things. You can charge your iriver with it. But you can do that with your USB cable. You can listen to your iriver through your headphones hooked up to it. But you can just plug them into your iriver. Finally it has very tinny speakers. They are pretty bad.
Doesn't add much functionality to the Clix.
If you're thinking this cradle will add some functionality to your Clix Gen2 player... it won't.
For starters, charging the cradle (which has it's own internal battery) in addition to the Clix (you can charge both at the same time with one cable), is still done through your computer via USB.
Secondly, the external speaker is very quiet. A volume level of 10 (out of 40) is plenty for typical listening at work or home with (low quality) headphones. However, you'll need to increase the volume to near 40 in order to get an equivilent volume level out of the speaker.
So... what does the cradle do well? Well... if you flip the screen orientation to 270 degrees, it makes for a neat stand while it charges... instead of laying flat on your desk. Is that worth money you'll spend on it?
"Outlook not so good."
Save your Money-Worthless Accessory
Let me first say I love my iriver and would highly recommend it, but I could do with out and actually wish I never bought this cradle.
It does nothing special, it will charge it but you still have to use your computer so what is the difference? You can play music through a 1 watt mono speaker, the product comes with stereo headphones so why use a speaker. I should have done more research before using the one click feature!
