Customer Reviews

"B" grade should really stand for "Best" grade. 5
Organic and Kosher certified- and Vermont produced and processed (very important to those doing "Master Cleanse" or "Lemonade" dieting). This is also from an independently ran, 7th generational, Vermont family business. So they have a demonstrated investment in providing high quality and reliable products. And for those unfamiliar with B-grade. The grades only are categories of color and flavor degree. A is the lightest in color and maple taste. B- provides a darker color and a true maple taste. Maple syrup also is an ideal substitute for other sweetners - it is a nutrient rich natural sugar. I used to swear by honey. Then found Maple Syrup (unadulterated) to be superior in nutritional benefits. I still use Honey for its unique benefits. But Maple syrup is clearly the better choice for general use and at the lower cost of using (and better taste) of grade-B (compared to grade-A), it is at a reasonable price to do so.

Grade B is the way to go!5
Wonderfully maple-y! So much more flavorful than grade A. It's hard to describe how this tastes, but it almost has a hint of coffee flavor and it doesn't taste like pure sugar. A little goes a long way on pancakes so I don't worry as much about calories.

I was worried about buying too much (64 oz, holy cow!), but it's really hard to find Grade B in my local grocery stores. I bit the bullet and googled a whole bunch of recipes using maple syrup. This can be used in all sorts of stuff ranging from salad dressings, marinades, ice cream toppings, cornbread, and baked beans. And that's only what I've actually tried!

Coomb's Maple Syrup, grade B 5
This is the best tasting syrup that I have ever tried and the price can not be beat.

I put it in my oatmeal, my protein shakes and on my sweet potatoes. My kids tease me and say I am like the guy from the ELF movie.
