One of Rösle's superb kitchen tools, this 6.3-inch zester has four tiny, sharp-edged holes on its end to smoothly remove fine strips of peel from citrus. It's also useful for removing decorative strips of skin from vegetables such as zucchini. Like all Rösle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, this zester is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handle has a satin finish to conceal finger marks. The handle is sealed against water and has a hanging ring so it can be conveniently stored on a hook in the Open Kitchen system of Rösle basic rails and Gridwalls or hung on any hook or peg. The zester is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand. All Rösle products are made in Germany, are dishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Customer Reviews
Fine made-in-Germany zester!
We bought one Rosle zester and one WMF julienne slicer for comparison because we would like to know whether we should invest in Rosle or WMF collection for our home. So this initial purchase was a test.
Rosle zester we got is made in Germany and has a better quality and fine finish. The steel is slightly heavier. It is sharp and creates beautiful zest perfect for garnish.
The made-in-China WMF julienne slicer works well, however, the finish and steel quality is inferior to that of Rosle, making it look cheap. With a price tag of 17 USD, we expected the WMF slicer to be German-made and to be of at least the same quality as that of Rosle.
From this experience, we decide that we better invest in Rosle tools than WMF.
Not quite up to par with the rest of Rosle's products
I own this Rosle zester, and like many of its other Rosle relatives which are in my possession, it comes in a sophisticated and beautiful looking, stainless steel.
However, I didn't find this quite up to par with the other Rosle products. I found the zester to be quite dull, forcing me to really dig into the fruit to obtain usable pieces. And even upon such digging, I was unable to produce long strips of zest, unlike other zesters which I have used. So now, I simply use my microplane grater instead as a substitute.
Save yourself some money, and skip this dull zester.
