These films may not be Academy-Award winning material, but they ARE fun. My son enjoys them and it gives us an opportunity to talk about "Where Babies Come From ..." (Note: This addition is no longer available, but you can currently purchase a newer release.) (Rated PG-13: Should be screened for younger children.)

We are fantasy enthusiasts and have read and exposed our child to fantastical stories and film since he was born. He really enjoys these films, but I do believe that they are much too intense (with battle scenes and frightening images) for young children. This is the most timid in the trilogy, but please screen them all carefully before sharing them with your child. (Rated PG-13)

From the studio that brought you Shrek. Madagascar isn't quite as funny as the Shrek franchise has been thus far, but it's enjoyable.

Your child will fear the closet no more! He or she may even look forward to finding monsters under the bed.

Action packed with lots of monsters and special effects; as good today as it was twelve years ago. (Rated PG-13: Should be screened for younger children.)

I was so happy to see all of the original Muppet movies released on DVD! We own all of the classics.

I'm not quite sure why this has not yet been released in a "Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition". Perhaps one is forthcoming.

I wasn't sure that my eight-year-old would find this entertaining, but he absolutely loves it! He quotes it ALL the time. My husband and I like it as well.

This film is now twenty-three years old! My son still adores it as much as I did when I was his age. It's a "must-have" for any family collection.

Though not nearly as amusing to me as it was twenty-two years ago (unbelievable!), it's every bit as amusing to my nine-year-old. He can't get enough Pee-Wee Herman!

We were pleasantly surprised by this film. It's become one of our favorite action/adventure films!

I haven't seen the original film in so long that I can't compare the two ... but the sequel stands well on its own, as well as teaching an important lesson on wildlife conservation.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The current Nickelodeon animated franchise has not disappointed us.
