Customer Reviews

Don't bother wasting your money1
I purchased the Miyim storybook yellow bear in July 07. I noticed that the hands and feet were crunchy. First I was told that they were filled with "organic walnut shell fragments". When I questioned that as being dangerous because some children might be allergic to nuts, I was then told it was a misunderstanding and it was actually "grapeseed filling".
Within a month the seams started to come apart and the stuffing was coming out, by then my child loved the shoddly-made thing. So I sewed and now I have to constantly re-sew because the fabric is so poorly made it's coming apart and the bear is now a bunch of stitching. I contacted Miyim by phone because I was concerned about the hazards of the bear falling apart. The man I spoke to admitted that the earlier bears had not been well made and they had upgraded their collection since then. He told me to throw away the bear and he would send me the yellow frog in its place, Of course I didn't throw it away because my child was very attached to the bear. That was back in October, I never heard from them again. Stay away from these poorly made toys!
