Smells like diesel but works fine
I didn't really expect much out of a super-cheap case like this so when the packaging arrived and it was in a clear, unmarked plastic bag with no real packaging, I can't say that I wasn't surprised.

The product itself works and fits perfectly on the View (yes, surprisingly there are different sized models of the Sansa brand, previous reviewer!). However, it did smell extremely strongly of some industrial-grade processing (think carbon dioxide fumes) but after letting it sit on a window sill for a week, most of the smell dissipated.

The quality of construction is fairly standard for a silicone case: not incredibly sturdy but thick enough to prevent scratches. It's good for its price and I'm happy with my purchase.

wrong size
This is a nice case, good quality. Unfortunately, it does not fit as described, but is for a larger model than the 8GB that I own.
