An elegant solution for the Blackberry Javelin 8900
Hi,

I am a blackberry junkie by trait and usually get the newest model available. I do NOT like the free cases that are included (pleather)...they tend to look crappy and crack after a few weeks of use.

One of the first accessories I buy for a Blackberry is a leather holster. Such is the case here....I bought this immediately after buying my Blackberry 8900. It looks elegant and it fits the Javelin perfectly...the 8900 is/was named Javelin.

I have one issue...the fit of the blackberry in this holster is almost TOO tight...but I am sure with time it will wear in the leather and allow for some more room.

The holster has the magnets built in so that the device is put to sleep, etc...

good holster
works well, keeps the 8900 protected and held in place, and magnet (for sleep function) works as advertised. this was my first accessory after buying the phone, as the oem case doesn't do much of anything. overall, i'm very pleased with this. one complaint: the swivel function of the clip is way too loose. instead of firm "clicking" to hold the phone horizontal or vertical from the belt or pants, the lightest movement or nudge will turn the phone various directions.

This is a great case for blackberry 8900. It swivels 360 which is better than the OEM case for the 8300 series because it doesn't break the plastic clip as easily. The look is very nice. the only problem is that it is too tight for the first few weeks so you need an effort to get the phone in and out.
